We're excited to offer an opportunity to gather with advocates from across the state for Virtual Day of Action on February 28th and help create a healthier Illinois, however your schedule allows!
10-10:45 am CT: Event Kickoff and Q&A. We'll gather via Zoom to learn more about what we're working on at the statehouse right now and in the coming months--and how your voice can make a difference.
- 10:45 am CT: Take Action! Following the event, you'll receive all the information you need to urge your lawmakers to support policies that will help create a healthier Illinois. It's that easy!
Maternal Health: Support the continued funding of postpartum Medicaid for new moms for one full year to ensure uninterrupted health care for those who care for our newest Illinoisans.
Illinois Access to Care: We'll discuss legislation that would help ensure access to quality healthcare and protect Illinoisans from junk insurance plans.
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Incentives: We'll share more about efforts to fund additional matching dollars to SNAP recipients to purchase locally grown fruits and vegetables, helping families stretch their monthly SNAP benefit and benefitting the local economy.
- Ending the Sale of Flavored Tobacco: We’ll also share information about efforts to end the sale of flavored tobacco products that target our youth and diverse communities.
REGISTER TODAY and make plans to join us for for a few minutes on February 28th as we celebrate Illinois Virtual Day of Action!
Thank you for being a voice for health!
