On September 9th, New Mexico State Advocacy Team member and survivor, Jim Myers joined American Heart Association volunteers from across the country in Washington, D.C. to attend the White House briefing on making health care better for everyone suffering from cardiovascular disease and stroke.

On September 9th, New Mexico State Advocacy Team member and survivor, Jim Myers joined American Heart Association volunteers from across the country in Washington, D.C. to attend the White House briefing on making health care better for everyone suffering from cardiovascular disease and stroke.
We want to thank Jim for taking the time to travel to DC and be part of this event. On another note, Jim also biked around DC while he was there in a record September heatwave. He shared with us that as he biked his way up Capitol Hill he realized that is really is a hill!
