Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Sarah has traveled the country for more than a decade as an expert in political communications, fundraising, and strategy.  She has worked on campaigns for every level of government, including local, state, and federal operations.  This year, Sarah also served as a Legislative Assistant in the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

"I'm excited to be joining the AHA family and am looking forward to working with the amazing and talented team of staff, advocates, and survivors that have been so successful passing heart-healthy policies in Oklahoma," said Sarah.

Please join us in welcoming Sarah to the American Heart Association and the SouthWest region!

Oklahoma's current Government Relations Director, Jordan Endicott, has accepted a new role with the AHA as an Advocacy Consultant, but will remain in Oklahoma.  Jordan has accomplished a great deal in less than 2 years as the OK Government Relations Director, winning a very difficult tobacco tax campaign, successfully defending against cuts to tobacco program funding, passing a bill creating a healthy food financing program for the state and then securing $500,000 to support that program. He led the statewide tobacco prevention coalition and established the AHA as a leader in other ways as well, building strong relationships with important stakeholders and legislators that will benefit our work and our mission in Oklahoma for years to come.

Please join us in congratulating Jordan!
