We must stop HB 2682 which claims to protect public health but actually does the opposite. What it does do is prevent cities and towns across Arizona from protecting our kids by stopping communities from enacting their own policies on the sale and marketing of dangerous, addictive tobacco products.

This bill would do the following:
- Allow tobacco to be sold right next to schools
- Prevent cities and towns from taking local action
- Create a weak tobacco retail license with minimum penalties on retailers that sell tobacco to underage youth
- Keeps existing penalties on our youth instead of correctly holding the store owners who sell them tobacco accountable.
Our state lawmakers need to tell tobacco companies that the health of our kids comes first.
Urge your lawmaker to stand up for Arizona’s young people!
Thank you for being a part of the relentless force for longer, healthier lives in Arizona.
