Several community health workers and others interested in healthy food policies attended the training to learn more about healthy food financing efforts in Dallas. Reverend Becky David Hensley, a public theology fellow at Faith in Texas, led a workshop on how to tell your story. Attendees learned how to relate a lack of access to healthy food in their community to their own personal story - a skill that can be leveraged in future meetings with elected officials and community members.

We would like to thank Dr. Jaime Kowlessar for being so welcoming and contributing to the health of the people Dallas.
