House Bill was passed out of the Senate Economic Development and International Investment Committee by a vote of 8-0.  Next it is up for a vote in the full Senate which could happen before the end of the year!

House Bill 4207 would help incentivize grocery stores or produce markets to open in underserved communities, helping to increase the availability and access to fresh food in communities across the state.  Existing stores will also able to access the funds if they’d like to expand their selection of nutritious food.
