Location: NC Legislative Complex, 16 West Jones Street, Raleigh, NC

Tentative Schedule of Events:
Exhibits Open 9:00 am
Registration Opens 9:30 am
Legislative Office Visits 10:00 am – 11:30 am
Lunch with the Women’s Caucus 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
Presentation by Dr. Paula Miller, Director of the UNC Women’s Heart Program
Legislative Visits/Tour and Other Activities 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Return Home 2:00 pm
Parking: Public parking is available in three visitor's lots. Visitor's lot #1 is located at the corner of Jones Street and Wilmington Street. Visitor's lot #2 is located in the 300 block of North Salisbury Street and can also be accessed from the 300 block of North McDowell Street. Visitors lot #3 is located at the corner of Edenton and McDowell Streets. Rates are charged by the hour and the parking lots are controlled by the Department of Administration.
What to Wear: Business attire featuring something RED is recommended. You will be walking, so please wear comfortable shoes. The legislative complex has two buildings and you will walk outside, so remember an umbrella if rain is predicted.
Pre-event Teleconference: There will be two opportunities to join a pre-event teleconference to help you prepare for your day at the Legislature. Please join us at the time that works best for you.

Legislative Meetings: Our goal will be to visit every legislative office and share with them information on women’s cardiovascular health and urge lawmakers to support fully funding the healthy corner store initiative. You will visit with your lawmaker and their staff as well as other legislators.
