Every 40 seconds, a person has a stroke. The right treatment can mean the difference between life and death. Nearly 2 million brain cells die each minute a stroke goes untreated. Some people who experience a stroke die; others are permanently disabled. For the best possible outcome, a stroke victim needs to receive timely care at the right hospital. We believe it is time for a big change! We partnered with SNIS to celebrate World Stroke Day and educate our lawmakers on the importance of a stroke system of care.
