Get Ready to Rock Red Rhode Island!

National Wear Red Day is Friday, February 7.  Have you picked out your favorite RED outfit yet?

Why is National Wear Red Day so important?  Heart disease kills more women than all forms of cancer combined.  Heart disease and stroke account for 30% of all female deaths in Rhode Island.  On average, 4 women die from heart disease and stroke in our state each day.  It simply does not have to be this way.

Please Wear Red and join the thousands of women, men, companies, organizations and cities across America that will "Go Red" to help raise crucial awareness of the fight against heart disease in women.  Tell your colleagues, friends and family to "Go Red" too!

By increasing awareness, speaking up about heart disease and stroke, and empowering women to reduce their risk for cardiovascular disease, we can save thousands of lives each year!
