In case you missed it: last week the State Senate voted on AB 654 / SB 549 and it passed by a count of 32-0!  Another unanimous vote!

This legislation will save lives by helping to ensure that all 911 dispatchers in Wisconsin are trained and able to talk callers through how to perform CPR while they wait for first responders to arrive.

The American Heart Association would like to thank each and every volunteer across the state who has helped advocate for this issue!  We'd also like to thank our bill sponsors, Senator Jerry Petrowski and Representative Treig Pronschinske, for their tireless efforts in passing this legislation in both chambers.

The bill now heads to the Governor for his signature. Stay tuned for more details!
