Delaware Policy Priorities for 2013

State legislators are being sworn in and getting back to work and the American Heart Association is gearing up to advocate for the issues that are important to all of you. Delaware legislators are going to be working on the budget, which will take up a great deal of their time, but we want to be sure that they don’t forget us and our concerns. Our key policy priorities we will be concentrating on this general assembly will be, Pulse Oximetry testing for newborns, adding CPR as a requirement to graduate high school and obesity concerns. To learn more about these issues, please visit www.heart.org.

We hope that this year, with your help, will be a great one with many successes. We could not accomplish what we do without the efforts of our volunteers. So take the time today visit our website and send an email to your legislator or find out when your state lobby day will be, and let’s get to work!
