Congressional Briefing on Physical Education

On Thursday, March 25th we will join with partners of the Physical Activity Alliance (PAA) to hold a Congressional briefing to announce the new, bi-partisan Congressional Physical Activity Caucus and highlight our new priorities. The briefing will put emphasis on the importance of federal efforts to increase physical activity to combat heart disease and stroke. AHA’s own Laurie Whitsel, who also serves as a Senior Advisor for the PAA will be one of the speakers along with Representatives Ron Kind (D-WI) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA).
