Central Falls Students Take Charge for Wellness

The American Heart Association recently partnered with the Central Falls School District to host "Students Take Charge for Wellness" event.

More than 120 students, parents, and teachers gathered on May 7th at an event that highlighted the importance of physical education (PE) in schools. Attendees viewed the American Heart Association's PE video filmed in Central Falls (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6Pszq-aUQk), heard wellness presentations and took part in fitness activities, all led by students.

Mayor James Diossa and Superintendent Victor Capellan also participated and shared strong support for PE for helping build strong bodies and minds and a healthy future.
