It's been nearly 8 years since Boise passed its smoke-free ordinance. Since then, the way people are using tobacco has changed.

Vaping has become mainstream, and the use of e-cigarettes and other vaping devices has become an epidemic among Idaho teens: a 2017 youth risk assessment done by the State Board of Education found that nearly 41% of Idaho high-school students are using vaping products. And contrary to popular belief, nicotine vapor is not just water; dozens of chemicals have been identified in nicotine vapor, including formaldehyde, cadmium, and lead.
The Boise City Council is considering changes to the the Boise Smoke-Free law to include e-cigarettes and vaping devices, and we need your voice!
On Tuesday, February 26th at 6:00pm, the Boise City Council will be consider adding e-cigarettes to the Boise Smoke-Free ordinance, and we need you to show your support.
