Alabama Medicaid Update

During a January 30 joint meeting on general funding, Medicaid Commissioner Stephanie Azar shared that she will ask for $869 million for fiscal year 2018 to cover inflation, Medicare Part B services, and other items. She also said she would like to continue plans with regional care organizations also known as RCOs, which were given an extension by the legislature to be set up by October 2017.
