Role model:  My parents have always been my role models and best friends.  They taught me to put God first, work hard, follow your dreams and never give up! Success is what I strive for in all areas of my life!

Greatest achievement:  My greatest achievement is becoming a mother!  I may have achieved a successful career and authored a book, but nothing compares to the role of motherhood.  My children bring light to every situation, love to our family, and the opportunity for my husband and me to train up amazing leaders to carry on our legacy.

Two celebrities or historical figures you would want to have dinner with and why?  I would love to have Ivanka Trump over for dinner.  She is a successful businesswoman and mother. She inspires women to redefine success and architect a life that honors our individual passions and priorities.  I also would love to have Diana, Princess of Wales come to my home. She says it best, “Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectations of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.”  We should all strive to live with a more giving heart!

Favorite AHA event: Jump Rope for Heart is fantastic! I love seeing children get up and move for a healthier heart! Becoming Mrs. Arkansas International has helped to connect my platform with the national charity of the International pageant system, the American Heart Association. As an advocate for the AHA and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, I lead by example, proving the better kids eat and the more active they are, the better they perform in the classroom.  It begins with our future generation to build a healthier America!

Why is advocating with the American Heart Association important to you? At the young age of 11, I watched both grandparents pass away from heart disease in their early 60’s.  This tragedy ignited a fire in me.  I was determined to do whatever it took to prevent this same thing from happening to me and my future family. I participated in multiple sports and dance outlets, as well as learn what I could about nutrition and exercise.  To this day, I continue to live a heart healthy lifestyle for myself and my family, teaching my children to do the same.
