A generation of lifesavers for New Mexico!

Last week in New Mexico, Governor Susana Martinez signed House Bill 104 and Senate Bill 1 into law.  These bills add CPR to the health class requirements for all students in New Mexico.  Now that this legislation has passed ,all students in New Mexico will receive hands on, psychomotor skills based CPR training prior to high school graduation.

By training high school students in CPR and first aid, we are equipping approximately 100,000 New Mexico residents with the skills to save lives over the next five years, creating new generations of lifesavers in New Mexico!

Thank you to Governor Martinez for signing the bills and to Representative McMillan and Senator Sanchez for carrying the bills through the legislative process in New Mexico!
