The 24th annual Rhode Island KIDS COUNT Factbook was released at a breakfast attended by over 570 people on April 9th.

The 2018 Rhode Island KIDS COUNT Factbook charts improvements and declines in the well-being of Rhode Island’s 208,640 children. Data are presented for the state as a whole and for each of Rhode Island’s 39 cities and towns, and there are a total of 71 indicators of child well-being in the publication. The American Heart Association works closely with KIDS COUNT on many issues impacting children's health including nutrition, physical education, physical activity and tobacco control.
